Mapping The Experience

The focus of this module was on mapping our journey from home to college, but not in a conventional sense. Rather than simply representing the physical roads and landmarks, we sought to capture our personal experiences and sensations along the way.

We took a more holistic approach by considering not only the physical aspects of the environment but also our emotional and sensory experiences as we traveled. This allowed us to reflect on our relationship with the space around us and consider how it impacted our overall journey.

Throughout the mapping process, we engaged in self-reflection and introspection, taking note of how we perceived the physical space and how it influenced our experience. By doing so, we were able to gain a deeper understanding of our connection with the places we encounter daily and the impact they have on our sense of place and belonging.

We paid close attention to the physical elements of the environment, noting how they contributed to our perception of the space and our sense of immersion within it. This allowed us to create a more comprehensive and meaningful representation of our journey, one that captured not only the physical landscape but also the personal experiences that made it unique.
