Garden Of Obscure Objects

The purpose of this module was to challenge us to think beyond conventional approaches by exploring the emotional and experiential facets of poetry and transforming them into visual art. By drawing inspiration from André Breton's "Freedom of Love" poem, we produced experiential drawings that conveyed the emotions conveyed by the poem.
Throughout the course, we were encouraged to transform our abstract concepts into tangible, human-sized installations. This required us to take into account the physical space and dimensions needed to actualize our ideas. By working with larger scales and dimensions, we were able to explore the ways in which people interact with their environment, as well as create immersive experiences that engage all the senses. In essence, we were challenged to consider the spatial relationships between our installations and the people who would engage with them.
